This modern farmhouse, built by our friends at Wolfe Homes, is a showstopper. You won't be surprised to learn that it sold before it was even finished. Fortunately, we're still able to give you a behind-the-scenes tour!
This spacious living area was designed with entertaining in mind. The grand island offers ample space for preparing, serving, and enjoying meals with friends & family. The open concept between the kitchen & living room is a host's dream. And floor to ceiling windows beckon guests and residents alike out onto the covered porch, where a luxuriously cozy fireplace awaits.
The backsplash appears to be natural calacatta marble, a timelessly chic selection. Only the most astute observer would realize that the elegant marble veining it is actually achieved with recycled glass tiles, which offer just as much depth and interest as the real deal — yet they require no sealer or special treatment. Brilliant!
The master bathroom is equal parts modern and farmhouse. Large-format black marble tiles add movement and richness to the flooring throughout the generous space. White subway tiles in the shower, accented by black grout, keep the space relaxed, while a beautiful pattern in the niche adds character & interest. Rain glass windows and tall ceilings keep the space light and bright.

The guest bathroom features a softer color palette of grey, white, & blue. Large-format tiles throughout are juxtaposed with a small penny round mosaic, which creates a striking accent in the walk-in shower.
In this tranquil upstairs bathroom, mushroom-colored subway tiles are installed with a cleverly alternating pattern of matte and glossy finishes around the tub. In combination with the herringbone layout, this adds subtle movement & variation without being overpowering.
The laundry room has an industrial flair thanks to distressed floor tiles in a warm taupe, a color tone that makes the off-black doors & windows pop. The oversized format keeps grout lines to a minimum, making the space super functional & easy to maintain.
Iridescent glass tiles give the beverage bar a touch of glamour & pizazz. This high-variation mosaic works perfectly for a small backsplash space where a little goes a long way. We love it!
Last but certainly not least: We are obsessed with this powder room accent wall. The pattern is an unusual, textural combination of metallic and crackled ceramics and white marble. The bronze accent hue pairs perfectly with the rich wood vanity, while a pale grey grout color ties in the paint color used elsewhere in the room. The mosaic was installed from floor to ceiling across the entire wall for maximum dramatic effect. Gorgeous!
